Real Sex Ed for Parents: Having The Talk
It has often been asked whether sexuality education should be left to the school or to parents and the answer has to be both! Contrary to popular belief, your kids actually want to hear about and learn about sex and sexuality from you!
You are the best person to gauge their child's physical, emotional and psychological development and also to tailor conversations to their needs and developmental level. Parents who are emotionally close to their children and who are open and honest when discussing sexual health topics have the most success at educating their children.
In this series of Real Sex Ed for Parents by seasoned Relationship Counselor and Clinical Sexologist Dr Martha Tara Lee, she explores a different theme with a sex-positive parent. She invites Mind Clearer and Trainer Lionel Koh who is a parent of two on Having The Talk.
